Hello, my name is Steve Kasten and I am a master craftsman that has been in the metalworking industry for over thirty-five years. I went to school at the Layton School of Arts and MATC where I worked to become a Journeyman machinist. From there I gained a great interest in making jewelry. For fifteen years I was a part owner of Kraiss and Kastens Inc. where I designed and manufactured a line of wedding and engagement ring sets. After that I worked for ten years at Bergamot Art Foundry Inc. where I created their silver and bronze department.

      In 2001 I started Kasten Kastings with the intention of giving a more friendly and personal atmosphere to the art of metalworking. After working for years in large manufacturing factories as supervisor and departmental head I found that there was a need for a more friendly and cooperative environment to produce the products that the customer envisioned, and not only what factories were willing to produce.

      I am confident that I will be more that capable of satisfying anyone’s production needs. During business hours I am available to give estimates and help you with your designs. Here at Kasten Kastings, together we can create anything you can imagine.
